As a celebrity makeup artist with over 10 years of industry experience, I’ve experienced every strip lash struggle first hand. From thick, heavy bands to plastic-looking lashes and lashes that just won’t stay down at the corners, I’ve seen it all.
I knew there had to be a better option out there and started to do some research. I used my extensive list of contacts, training from some of the best celebrity makeup artists out there and expertise to create a range of lashes that look natural and work for every eye shape.
Maia Lashes was launched in November 2022 (but has been in the works for way longer), aimed at bringing you lashes that look natural, stay in place and enhance your beauty.

When working with clients as a makeup artist, I found that I was coming across the same problems with lashes over and over again. The makeup artists I worked with had the same problems too. And the clients I worked with were struggling when they applied their lashes at home.
They told me (and I agreed with them) that the lashes they could get weren’t always great quality and were usually expensive. They couldn’t get the styles they really wanted or the right fit for their eye shape - and it was hard to tell when you bought lashes online.
An alternative was lash extensions, but these were expensive and high-maintenance. Plus they didn’t always give the exact look you wanted.
It was clear none of us were happy with what was on offer, but we all felt stuck with what was out there. That’s why I started to work on creating a solution.
The quality, style and fit of lashes we have created are exactly how I want them and I'm so excited to share them with you.
